There are currently 2 pubs in the village each with a different vibe.  The Three Blackbirds is in the heart of the village in the Conservation area and it has been given a new lease of life by Rebecca who has brought her own style and high standards to the pub.  From January 2024 food will be served Thursdays to Sundays and there are regular quizzes and fun events throughout the year.  Rebecca also serves lovely coffee and can cater for functions,  parties and other celebrations as requested.  There is also a pretty garden with benches to enjoy on warmer days.
The Rose and Crown in Trowley Bottom is a traditional  pub with a very welcome cosy fire on cooler days.  It has recently had an extension so there is a new kitchen and toilet facilities.  The new kitchen has enabled the landlady, Kelly to serve Sunday lunches (bookings are essential) and provide catering as required.  The pretty garden is a pleasure to sit in and enjoy the rural views.  It is a regular meeting place for the Classic car enthusiast and the Bell Ringers too.  Fundraising events such as the fascinating tractor ride around the local village pubs was organised from here.  Check out their notice board in the pub for pop up events too.
