The Parish Council own and manage the pavilion and recreation ground. The brand new pavilion was completed in April 2020, just in time for the start of the various lock downs due to the pandemic. It is now thankfully being very well used and is available for hire. There is a hall and kitchen, a small changing room and disabled toilet on one side plus home and away changing rooms with separate entrances.
It is idea for yoga classes, music practice, floristry groups, sewing, craft, art classes and it is particularly popular for children’s parties. During the summer May- September, the pavilion is used by the local cricket team on Saturdays, but it is available on Sundays.
It is situated right next to a children’s playground so is ideal for children’s parties and other functions. There is also one tennis court. It is located on the corner of Friendless Lane and Hollybush Lane (AL3 8DE) and there is plenty of parking.
